Five Steps to Begin the Healing Process
Healing is a journey that requires faith, courage, honesty, and intentional action. This five-step, faith-centered process will help you confront the pain of your past, release what has kept you bound, and move forward in freedom, purpose, and wholeness.
Step One — Forgive: Release the pain, bitterness, and offenses that have kept your heart imprisoned. Forgiveness does not excuse what happened—it frees you from carrying it.
Step Two — Surrender: Give God your pain, fears, expectations, and need for control. Surrender creates space for Him to heal what you cannot repair on your own.
Step Three — Love: Learn to receive God’s love, love yourself in a healthy way, and extend love to others without abandoning your boundaries.
Step Four — Trust: Rebuild your confidence in God, yourself, and the healing process. Trust allows you to move forward even when you cannot see the entire path.
Step Five — Engage in the War: Healing requires spiritual awareness and intentional action. Learn to recognize the battle, confront unhealthy patterns, guard your progress, and fight from a place of faith, truth, and victory.
You do not have to remain trapped by what happened to you. It is time to forgive, surrender, love, trust, and courageously engage in the fight for your healing.
